Parks and sites are working collaboratively with Indigenous partners and communities to respect their concerns about COVID-19, and to ensure that we can safely provide services, including camping. This may impact the dates that reservations open.
Current reservation dates
A limited number of national parks offer camping in winter and early spring. You can currently make reservations at these sites for dates up to the end of March 2021. Reservations for April 2021 will begin December 16, 2020.
You will be able to make reservations for trips between May 2021 and March 2022 in April 2021. Details and exact dates for each location are listed below. Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Yukon.
The “Operating Season” refers to the nights that the campground or hike is open for use. Sometimes campgrounds or hikes operate for longer than the period for which they accept reservations. Any dates of the “Operating Season” outside of the “Reservable Period” are the dates that it operates on a first come, first served basis only.
The “Reservable Period” refers to the nights for which you can make a reservation.
The “Operating Season” refers to the days that the backcountry hike is available to begin this hike. This backcountry hike is open for longer than the period for which they accept reservations. Any dates of the “Operating Season” outside of the “Reservable Period” are the dates that the backcountry hike operates on a first come, first served basis only.
The “Operating Season” and “Reservable Period” refers to the days that the guided hike is open for use.
